ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Host, you bring your skills, your craft, and your presence to small group experiences in art, nature, and culture — helping people feel less stressed and more connected with others and themselves.
Who qualifies
We're looking for licensed professionals and vetted community leaders who can safely and warmly facilitate group experiences.
Licensed Provider
Licensed Providers can conduct virtual consultations and write social prescriptions on Grooply Go. Any healthcare professional with the scope of practice and telehealth authority to conduct a billable clinical consultation and issue a prescription in their licensed state(s).
- Physicians (MD, DO)
- Nurse Practitioners (NP, APRN)
- Physician Associates / Assistants (PA-C)
- Psychiatrists
- Clinical Psychologists (PhD, PsyD)
- Licensed Therapists & Counselors (LPC, LMHC, LCSW where scope permits telehealth billing)
Care Host
Licensed care professional (MD, NP, LCSW, etc.), can lead clinically-informed groops, appropriate for provider-referred patients with clinical needs. Care Hosts host groops; they do not conduct telehealth visits or write prescriptions.
- Medical doctors: Physician (MD / DO), Psychiatrist
- Nursing & midlevel providers: Nurse Practitioner (NP / APRN), Physician Associate / Assistant (PA-C), Registered Nurse (RN)
- Mental health clinicians: Clinical Psychologist (PhD / PsyD), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Counselor (LPC / LMHC), Art Therapist (ATR / ATR-BC)
- Rehab & support specialists: Occupational Therapist (OT), Pupil Personnel Services (PPS)
- Other credentialed care professional
Social Host
Vetted community leader (educators, activity specialists, experienced facilitators), leads lower-acuity, connection-focused groops, appropriate for self-referred/lower-clinical-need patients.
- Licensed art therapist, counselor, or clinical social worker
- Certified nature or outdoor program leader (e.g., ANFT, WFR, equivalent)
- Cultural program facilitator with relevant credentials (museum educator, teaching artist, etc.)
- Educators, activity specialists, and experienced facilitators
